Clubbing TV, based in Paris but recognised the world over, is the latest channel to launch on the mobile content delivery network and will provide an exclusive showcase for dance music content, from global artists and labels, across mobile phones worldwide.

The channel, available on mobile for the first time, will feature a combination of the hottest new music videos and some of dance music’s most popular classics featuring the biggest artists, DJs and producers.

Nokia X6

It has been announced that Nokia’s latest phone the Nokia X6, is to arrive in the UK this week and is the mobile to have if you’re a lover of music.

The phone pack has a standard 6GB of memory, 32GB internal, 4GB on a microSD card, fantastic for all of you who want more music on the move.

The mobile features a 3.2 inch reactive interface and 16:9 touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera with a dual flash and a Carl Zeiss lens and includes full access to the Ovi Application Store.

Vodafone team up with MySpace to offer The Music Studio

Vodafone has teamed up with MySpace, the world’s premier social portal, to launch an online music studio designed to further strengthen its association with the music industry.

The pan-European campaign, which was launched today and will initially run for eight months, is aimed at bands, artists and music enthusiasts and sees the creation of a new and integrated music solution; showing Vodafone to be a brand immersed in music around the globe.

The venture, available to music lovers in the UK, Germany and Spain will deliver engaging and interactive brand experiences for users while ensuring revenue is driven through Vodafone’s music related products and services. It will provide the perfect platform for Vodafone to communicate and engage with music consumers in a social networking environment.

The Music Studio incorporates four key themes – Create, Discover, Experience and Share – maximising the opportunity for interaction and engagement:

Create:
Users will be given the tools to remix the tracks of established musicians using the new ‘Go Mix’ application, and later in the campaign, easily record tracks and upload them onto their MySpace Profile

The Vodafone Music Reporter competition gives users the chance to win reporting opportunities from music events across Europe

Nokia have launched Comes with Music digital entertainment service in the UK, which offers consumers a new way to discover and enjoy music. Customers who buy a Comes With Music device will be able to explore and enjoy a diverse catalog of music of international and local artists with unlimited access to millions of tracks for a year, keeping the music once the year is over and revolutionizing their digital music experience.
