Today’s world is full of numbers and accounts with usernames, passwords, authorisation codes, email addresses, business telephone, home telephone and mobile phone numbers; all of which need to be instantly memorable. But unfortunately, many are not.
Memorable business telephone numbers can benefit both you and your customers, and can also create a good impression. I find that telephone numbers that have a certain rhythm to them are easier to remember, too. So, wouldn’t it be a good idea to have an easy to remember mobile number that simply rolls of the tongue anytime someone asks you for your number, or you need to mentally remember an important number to call.
Well, now you can. Elite Numbers™ can offer a memorable mobile phone number to residents, and in some cases, non-residents of the UK. However, to take advantage of this service you must be with a UK network.
Mobile numbers can be made up from any six digits, not including the suffix. So you are free to use a memorable date, such as a date of birth, or a repetitive number that is easy to remember, like the direct enquiries 118 118.
Available mobile numbers are broken into four price bands – bronze, silver, gold and elite.
Bronze Numbers start from as little as £30, Silver Numbers from £100 and Gold Numbers from £300.
Elite Numbers start from £700 and are the most memorable of all UK mobile phone numbers. Current examples available to buy include 0776* 654321 (asterisk is included for privacy reasons), 07*25 007 007 and 0770* 696969.
These numbers can be used for any purpose, whether it be your main mobile phone number or for a particular business advertising campaign. Either way, this is a great way to choose your mobile number.
Elite Numbers™ will work on both contract or PAYG ( Pay As You Go) phones, and is not just available to UK businesses.
So, how does it work?
Once Elite Numbers™ receive payment your new Sim Card or PAC code will be sent to you via recorded or special delivery. Elite Numbers™ will only delivery Sim Cards or PAC codes to the address processed with your credit card details.
A PAC code is an abbreviation used for the Porting Authorisation Code. This code is used to transfer a mobile phone number from one service provider to another. You are unable to transfer your number without this code.
OfCom have overseen recent changes to the porting of mobile numbers from one service provider to another. This has resulted in a more efficient process for porting your new number which should now take only two working days, instead of the previous five to complete.
Lastly, you are able to reserve a special mobile number with a small deposit. This is a good idea, especially if you are not ready to buy your Elite Number but are in the process of having stationery printed.
